Dentist Joke of the Month

There is nothing worse than being in pain with toothache.

So to try and cheer people up this is our monthly Joke.

The Marshes were shown into the dentist's surgery, where Mr Marsh makes it absolutely clear that he is in a big hurry.Funny visit to the dentist

'No expensive extras, Doctor,' Marsh demands, 'No gas or needles or any of that fancy stuff. Just pull the tooth and get it over with.'

'I wish more of my patients were as strong minded and as brave as you, Mr Marsh, 'said the dentist admiringly. 'Now, which tooth is it?'

Mr Marsh turns to his wife and says:

'Show him your tooth, honey.'

24 Hour Dentist - 5 Easy steps to finding one.

Finding a 24 hour dentist should be quick and easy unfortunately with so many dentist websites and other sites finding one on line. It isn't as easy as you would think.

in this post i want to share some simple tips on how you can quickly and easily identify dentists in your area.

STEP ONE
The first step is to go on Google and enter "24 hour dentist" its important to include the speech marks as this concentrates the search. Instead of a range of dentist sites you will get a higher percentage of 24 hour sites.

STEP TWO

Ensure you have your location selected correctly. This is located on the left side of the search page, you may need to click the change location button and enter the correct location for you.

STEP THREE

Review the results.  There are a few places you should look. First is the top of the page in the middle with the pink background. This contains all the 24 hour dentists that have specifically advertised to be included in this search result.

This is your best place to find emergency dentists the second place i would look is the right hand column. This is a continuation of the sites in the pink box.

Finally you should review further down the page, specifically keeping an eye out for the terms 24 hour.  From the screen shot here I would suggest the Carrefour dentist and the emergency dentist Quebec as both of the mention 24 hours.

This covers the basic method of searching for a dentist however you can never tell how close they are too you. Quite often people book an appointment only to find the dentist is located an hours drive or more away. To make sure this doesn't happen, you should also use do the following steps as this helps confirm which emergency dentist to target.

STEP FOUR
Add caption
We are now going to use the Google map search feature to get a better understanding of where the dentists are located.

The first thing you should do is select the maps tab at the top of the page, then enter your location. In this example we have used Montreal.
At this stage you can also fine tune the area you want to search either by zooming out to make it a larger area. Or moving the centre of the map so it is directly over your location.

This will make sure the dentists shown are in your vicinity.

STEP FIVE

Now delete the location in the search box and replace it with "24 hour dentist".
this will bring up all the dentist in the area on the map quickly providing you with phone numbers as well as directions to the dentist.

As before make sure the listing says 24 hour otherwise you are likely to hit a voice mail. In this example the dentist at position A on the map offers a 24 hour service and an emergency dentist.

So with these 5 easy steps you have a list of 4-5 dentists in your area that offer 24 hour services. There are still the odd non emergency dentists in the listings but using our techniques you will get the majority of 24 hour dentists in your area.
